State of The Union

Working in the veterinary profession has been especially tough lately – whether it has to do with burnout and fatigue, low wages and student debt, or having to 'defend' the cost of practicing good medicine.

Often we struggle to have balance and leave work exhausted and depleted. At IMThriving, we believe that our passion for working with animals shouldn’t lead to burn out.

Resilience is directly related to job satisfaction and productivity

Empower Yourself and Your Team

This is not a place of "this is just the way it is" or "let me tell you how it's done around here". We are here to advocate and support each other in the fight to overcome adversities and thrive in our profession.

One of the biggest threats to the veterinary industry is their best people becoming burned out, feeling isolated and losing their passion. We can end that here by building resilient community.

Let's be real, no matter how awesome we are, it is impossible to know and do everything on our own. Have access to people who are experts in what they do and learn about things that matter to you.

Have a tribe to turn to at any time and be surrounded by people who know for real what "it's like". We will assure we're here for each other when things get rough, cause we've all been there.

Resilience through vulnerability and empowerment

We build resilience through becoming vulnerable AND empowered. Resilience simply means bouncing back. In our profession, we go through a lot of difficulty and distress.

But we are not born with it! Resilience happens through behaviours, thoughts, and actions that can be learned at any stage of our careers and our lives.

Resilient, you'll learn to see the light at the end of the tunnel, move toward your goals more easily, and find new opportunities to thrive.
